Welcome to my Blog!

Hi everyone! For those of you new, welcome! My name is Julia and I run @compdancerelate on Twitter! I have had my Twitter account for almost a year and a half and it has brought me great joy! I love to write so I decided to bring my thoughts and "inspiration" to a blog so I can have more than 140 characters to talk! Before I create my first blog post, here are some fun facts about me so you can get to know me a little better!

1. I am currently 18 and am a freshman in college and am on my college dance team!

2. I have been dancing since I was 2.5 years old, but seriously since I was 11

3. I come from a big studio with many other people named Julia so I went by my middle name in order to feel more like my own person

4. My favorite styles of dance are jazz and tap!

5. I began working at my studio when I was 14 years old and work there part time over the Summer along with my other job that I have year round

6. I am a Communication Studies major at school! I eventually want to be a journalist!

7. I was the captain of my high school dance team for 2 years

8. I started my twitter account because I loved seeing funny and relatable dancer tweets and thought it would be fun to give it a try

9. My younger cousin is a competitive dancer and I choreographed her first ever solo when I was 14 and she was 5

10. I tried every sport in the book but nothing stuck besides dance!
